Winter Wonderland..

Just when we think we are not going to get hit with a winter storm..it hits. Not only did mother nature bring in all her glory, but she added a little somethin' somethin' to it. Do not mess with her! :)

As I do work for State Farm..even we did not go into work today. What about that? Please do not think your good neighbor is not there for you, we will be going in later today to clean up when we can. So no worries. "WE ARE THERE!" Nathaniel went into to work today, they never close, under any circumstances. lol. So I hope he gets home safely to me today. He better want to build a snowman when he gets here or something. He punked out on me last night when I dared him to race me in a sliding contest down the hill. He would not do it. OLD MAN! ;) So he has some making up to do. Because I am already getting antzy sitting here. There are only so many moveis that we have unpakced that I can watch to keep my attention. Is it 3 yet?

Never the less, the snow is beauiftul I do have to admit. I just hope is goes away soon and no more comes along behind it!! Be safe out there.

Baby, It's COLD Outside..

As I woke up this morning, my room was frigid! I mean I could not get warm this morning. The "coldness" lasted all day. It was one of those days where I would rather NOT know how cold it is outside. Just to stay in and not get outta bed. Turns out, I am a BIG GIRL now so the duty of working called (and for the record called way tooo early!) Needless to say, it is COLD outside here and not looking like any warm weather coming for a looonnngggg time :(

By the way, on the J.O.B. front, I am actually loving my job. Everyone there is so helpful and nice. What is even better is we are slammed with work all day, everyday so TIME flys by (Thank Goodness!!) But seriously, I love working with State Farm. I have truly been blessed not only with a job during this time but also with such a great place to work. God truly blessed me and provided for our needs. Some how, Some way He has made things possible. To actually get our house, provide for us financially when we needed it. It is a great feeling to have that in our lives. So much Love from the BIG GUY upstairs.

Mason Alexander Thomspon

My very best friend in the WHOLE world had her baby last night.

Tiffany (Kurtenbach) had her little bundle of joy, Mason, at 6:14 pm in Colorado Springs. He was 5lbs and 18 inches. A tiny, but LONG baby!! :)

Pictures will be posted as soon as I receive them. I cant wait to see Tiffany and Mason in March.

side note: Please keep Tiffany's husband Chris in your prayers and thoughts. He will be leaving for Afghanistan at the beginning of May. I am not sure how long he will be gone, I am thinking it is a year or so. It will be VERY tough on Tiffany when he is gone, especially with the new baby and moving back home to Kentucky. But never the less, I am so looking forward to seeing her and having her back home!

NEW HOUSE!!!

WE ARE SOOO EXCITED TO SHARE OUR NEWS. WE JUST BOUGHT OUR FIRST HOME! This is such a BIG step and deal in our lives. We are so blessed that the Lord has provided for more than what our needs are. He is so GOOD!!

We had been searching for houses for the past 5 months and we just could NOT find anything that suited us. So last Sunday Nathaniel was on the computer searching the same search and came across this ADORABLE 3 bedroom, 1 and half bath ranch home in Southern Indiana. So he went to look at it on Monday, called me and said he loved it. I went back on Tuesday with him and we put our offer in, last night we got a call saying he accepted. WE WERE PUMPED!! I did not think I would cry, but I did!!

Another HUGE item of the "wedding to do" list!

4 and 1/2 months and counting!!!
